The Google Chrome browser is widely used. So this is important news for such users. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) has alerted Google Chrome users. A bug in Chrome has compromised users' privacy, as well as the risk of malware infiltrating the device. The solution is also given in this instruction. According to the information received, Google has corrected this error and has issued an update for it. So along with the government, Google has also instructed users to install the new Chrome. This update provides 22 security fixes. These flaws have been pointed out by outside researchers to Google.

According to a report by CERT-In, hackers can use users' private information using the vulnerabilities encountered. They can also inject malware into the device, which can cause further damage. The company has released a patch to fix this problem and has asked users to upgrade their browser as soon as possible.

  • Go to the About section of Google Chrome in Help
  • Check out your Chrome version here
