Mumbra Election Result 2026: Videos of Marziya Pathan Celebrating Victory in Thane Civic Polls Go Viral

Marziya Shanu Pathan, a young woman candidate of the Nationalist Congress Party-Sharad Chandra Pawar (NCP-SP), has become the centre of attention in Thane politics. Video of her and party workers celebration is now going  viral on social media. Another video of her speaking strongly on local issues. The video has sparked discussion not only in Mumbra but also across Thane district’s political circles.

In the viral clip, a large crowd of women and young supporters can be seen surrounding Marziya Pathan. Local residents say she has built her identity through grassroots work. Her initiatives, especially in the areas of education and infrastructure, have drawn praise.

Mumbra has traditionally been an NCP stronghold, though other political. The rise of young leaders like Marziya is being seen as a boost for the party. Her “victory” slogans in the video are being interpreted as early signals ahead of the upcoming municipal corporation (BMC/TMC) elections.

Reacting to the video, local residents said they are looking for educated and sensitive representatives who can effectively raise their concerns with the government. In her speeches, Marziya Pathan has repeatedly said she wants to change Mumbra’s image from one associated with “fear” to one focused on development and education.
