Veteran Indian Singer and Padma Vibhushan awardee Asha Bhosle passed away on April 12 at the age of 92. She was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital in Mumbai on April 11 as she was suffering from a chest infection. Many political leaders like PM Naerendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, Devendra Fadnavis, Eknath Shinde, Rajnath Singh, Jitendra Singh, and Piyush Goyal paid tributes to the late singer. Initially, it was reported that she was admitted to the hospital because of cardiac arrest, but later her family clarified and stated she was suffering from a chest infection.PM Narendra Modi in a tribute-post on X stated that Asha Bhosle's melodious voice had touched hearts of countless people.
