Bengaluru Traffic Police issued an advisory ahead of the IPL 2026 opening game between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday, March 28. The match will be held at M Chinnaswamy Stadium at 7:30 pm. To avoid vehicular congestion and for the smooth flow, Bengaluru Traffic Police issued restrictions which will be imposed from 3 pm to 12 am today (March 28) near the stadium. In a video shared on X (formerly Twitter), the company asked people to plan their travel.Police request commuters to use maximum use of public transport such as trains, metros, and buses. Police advise people to avoid unnecessary travel during this period of time and area, and also avoid crowded roads. Parking RestrictionsOn both sides of Queens Road, from Balekundri Circle to Queens Circle, and from Queens Circle to CTO Junction.On MG Road, from Anil Kumble Circle to Queens Circle, and from Queens Road to Anil Kumble Junction, on both sides of the road.Link Road-from MG Road to Cubbon Road.Raj Bhavan Road, T. Chowdaiah Road, and Race Course Road.On both sides of Central Street RoadOn Cubbon Road, from CTO Circle to Dickenson Road Junction, on both sides.
