Mumbai, Sep 17 The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday congratulated spinner Ravichandran Ashwin on his 36th birthday, listing the star bowler's achievements over the years and wishing him success in the future.Ashwin has been included in the 15-member squad for the ICC T20 World Cup in Australia next month along with fellow tweakers Axar Patel and Yuzvendra Chahal.In its message to Ashwin, BCCI wrote,"255 international games, 659 international wickets, 3799 international runs, second highest wicket-taker for #TeamIndia in Tests, 2011 ICC World Cup and 2013 ICC Champions Trophy winner. In the 18th over of the Super Four game, with Pakistan needing 34 runs, Asif Ali tried to sweep Ravi Bishnoi and it seemed like he would be returning to the pavilion. However, the 23-year-old Arshdeep dropped the straightforward chance and Ali survived to bring back the game in Pakistan's favour. The India pacer then received a lot of criticism from netizens.Ashwin said the 23-year-old pacer had the courage to bowl a superb last over of the innings despite the setback of the dropped catch."I know it (dropped catch) was against Pakistan and that it came at a crucial stage.
