The makers of Toxic – A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have unveiled the film’s official teaser online, offering audiences a detailed preview of the much-anticipated period gangster saga. As previously announced on social media, the teaser premiered at 9:35 AM on February 20. This newly launched video presents a deeper insight into the film’s mood, narrative texture and striking visuals, revolving around Yash’s character, Raya. The project is jointly backed by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash under the banners KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The film’s title was first disclosed in December 2023. On January 8, 2025, marking Yash’s birthday, the team shared a special video titled Toxic: Birthday Peek, followed by another reveal, Toxic: Introducing Raya, on January 8, 2026, spotlighting the protagonist.With the teaser now released, the promotional campaign enters a fresh stage ahead of its theatrical debut. The film has been shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, signalling an effort to reach audiences beyond regional boundaries. Cinematography is handled by Rajeev Ravi, while the music is composed by Ravi Basrur. Editing responsibilities are undertaken by Ujwal Kulkarni, and production design is managed by T. P. Abid. The action choreography team includes J. J. Perry, Anbariv, Kecha Khamphakdee and Amrit Singh. Additional technical credits feature sound designer Kunal Sharma, re-recording mixer Sreejesh Nair and VFX studio DNEG. The film is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
