Aurangabad, Nov 25:
The admission process of 11th class, which was halted around two and half months ago will resume from November 26.
It may be noted that the admission process started in August and halted in the second week of September as the Supreme Court granted a stay on Maratha reservation under Social and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC).
The Directorate of Education (Secondary and Higher Secondary) was to release the second list of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) of 11th admission on September 10.
But, the admission process was postponed until further order on the night of September 9. The aspirants were waiting for the resumption of the process since then.The vacant for the second round will be displayed at 10 am on Wednesday.Those who have selected SEBC category can opt for others up to December 1.
The secondary schools will verify application up to December 1. The allotment list for the second round will be released on December 5 and candidates can confirm the admission up to December 9. Directorate of Education Dattatray Jagtap issued the admission schedule today.
There are 116 colleges in the city with 31,565 seats. Around 24,989 students registered while 19,359 verified it. A total of 8,749 selected for the first round while 6100 of them admitted.
