Aurangabad, March 8:

The Health Department of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) carried out antigen tests on Monday in five Government offices which are important and have many daily visitors.

It may be noted that people visit different government offices for their works.

The AMC deployed special squads for the test of visitors in the government offices so that their officers and employees should not get contracted.

The test of 359 persons was conducted while 13 of them were detected positive to the pandemic virus. Three were found positive at the AMC office after doing the test of 27 citizens. One of them who lives at Bhausinghpura came there for the test as he was unwell for the past few days.

As soon as he was found positive in the test, he ran away. The health employees and security guards were worried about it. He was contacted on the phone and warned of lodging a police complaint if he does not return. After one hour, he returned and sent him to COVID Care Centre by ambulance. A total of 32 tests were conducted at the office of the commissioner of police while one was found positive to the pandemic virus. Two persons were detected positive in 63 tests done at district collector's office. A total of 94 person test was carried out at the divisional commissioner's office, and two of them were found positive.

The AMC’s Health Department appealed to people to come forward willingly for the COVID test and take treatment.
