Aurangabad, Jan 18:

Thieves broke stone Gold jewellery weighing 1.75 tolas from the house of a lady teacher on Paithan Road. The incident occurred during the period between December 28 and January 8. The teacher lodged a complaint at the Satara Police Station on January 17.

The complainant stays at Girija Shankar Vihar Society at Paithan Road. On December 28, she wore a gold necklace and ring and went to her school to attend a function. After coming from the function, she kept the jewellery in the wardrobe . On January 8, when she opened the wardrobe and found the jewellery was missing. When she realized the jewellery was missing, she lodged a complaint at Satara police station. Constable Arvind Chavan is further investigating the case.
