Aurangabad, April 29: In a tragic incident, a 19-year-old pharmacy student Kirti Uday Joshi (Aurangpura) ended her life by hanging herself from the ceiling of her room this evening.

In a suicide note, Kirti said, “You all loved me but I could not fulfill your expectations.” Kirti was a second year student of a pharmacy college in Waluj area.

Everyday, she joined online classes at home so no one went to her room. Today also she was in her room and family assumed that she was attending the classes. She did not come out of the room till 6.30 pm and also did not respond to calls from the family members.

They were shocked to see her hanging from the roof. The Kranti Chowk police reached the spot and shifted the body to the Government Medical College and Hospital. Kirti has a younger brother. Her father works in a private hospital.
