Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The MGM University’s two-day ‘Art and Craft Fair’ was kicked off at the ‘Chintan Gah’ in the University premises on Saturday. Cooperation Minister, Atul Save inaugurated the fair.

Speaking on the occasion, Atul Save praised the initiative and congratulated the University for providing a much-needed platform to artists from across the country.

The Leonardo Da Vinci School of Design of MGM University is hosting the fair which is a confluence of diverse Indian art forms including painting, sculpting, Warli, Mithila Painting, Embroidery, Jute Craft, Kalamkari, Bamboo products, Paithani, Wooden artefacts and others.

It will remain open to all on May 28 from 10 am to 8 pm. MGM University Chancellor Ankushrao Kadam, Vice-Chancellor Dr Vilas Sapkal, Registrar Dr Ashish Gadekar, Dean of Faculty of Design Dr Monika Aggarwal, Dean Dr Rekha Shelke, Dean Dr Prapti Deshmukh, Dean Dr Vijaya Deshmukh, teachers students and citizens were present on the occasion.
