2-day workshop on 'Advanced Materials' concludes

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The two-day international workshop organised on 'Advanced Materials: Bridging Research and Industries' by the Electronics Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University concluded at the Department on Monday. A total of 120 students and researchers participated in the workshop.

Experts from India and abroad provided guidance in ten sessions over the two days. Dr K S Nair from Cochin University guided the participants on Spectroscopy and Sensor Technology’ in the morning session of the final day of the workshop.

Dr Ri-ichi Murakami from Tokushima University, Japan, interacted with the participants on the topic of 'Biosensors'. Dr A K Prasanna from the same university gave a presentation on 'Flexible Electronics' through a PPT. Head of the Department, Dr Mahendra Shirsath, said that a degree course was started under 'AEDP.' Dr B. N. Dole, Head of the Physics Department, Dr Pravina Ugale, Dr Prabhakar Undre, and others were present at the concluding ceremony of the workshop.
