250 beds Super speciality hospital at GMCH soon
Aurangabad, Dec 28:
District collector, Sunil Chavan directed the officers of the
Health Services Consultancy Corporation (HSCC) to hand over the super specialty
hospital being establish with the capacity of 250 beds, with the expense of Rs
68 crores at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) premises, by
December 31. Before that all the facilities in the building should be
completed, he said.
He directed the officers during a review meeting organized at
the district collectorate on Monday. Chavan said, the construction of the
building was started in 2016 and completed in 2018. All the facilities like
water proofing, separate water storage facility, electricity and others should
be completed and handed over to administration by December 31. He also directed
to provide ample water supply to the girls hostel at GMCH and remove the
encroachments in the premises, he directed.
Dean Dr Kanan Yelikar, Special Executive Officer Dr Sudhir
Chaudhary, HSCC officer Rajkumar Sharma, PWD executive engineer S S Bhagat,
Kadar Ahmed, executive engineer S V Nandanvankar, S B Dongre, A B Kale and
others were present.
