3-day WINGS-25 contest concludes

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The three-day national-level technical event WINGS-2025 organised by the Government College of Engineering (GCE) concluded on Sunday.

Teams from states like Delhi, Haryana, Bihar and Telangana along with Pune, Mumbai and Nagpur cities participated in the technical competition. More than 500 teams presented their ideas and innovations in competitions and activities, including e-Sports, Dronix, Robo Olympic, Bridge Mania, India Innovates, Hackathon, Ode to Code, CAD War, and a Bike and Car Expo.

There were the highest number of participants in the e-sports competition (152), followed by 125 in Hackathon, 105 in Robo Olympics, 90 in Breeze Mania, 87 in Odd to Code 35 in Dronex, 35 in India Innovates and 12 in Cad War.

The Electronic bikes were exhibited at the Bike and Car Expo along with the biker group from the city. In the competitions, students presented various innovations.

For the competitions, S V Shetty, Varsha Ratnaparkhi, Prachi Bhagat, Nitin Phadkule, Manjusha Bachawar, G K Patil, S S Agarwal, Vikul Pawar, Vrushali Chakkarwar, Smita Chavan, Madhavi Harne, S B Chikalthankar worked as coordinators.

Principal Dr Sanjay Dambhare, Dean Dr Nitin Bhasme, V A Chakkarwar, S P Atipamalu, Akash Sawade, Anuj Adhav, Surajkumar Nage, Shaurya Babare, Varad Tripure and others took the initiative to make the competition a success.

A two-hour musical and cultural program was held in the auditorium in the evening. In this, Marathi and Hindi songs were presented by the ABS Live team from Pune. The students enjoyed singing along to these songs.
