Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: A total of 53,105 students of class 5th and 8th standards will appear for the scholarship examination, which will be conducted on February 22.
Education Officer (Primary) Jayshree Chavan said that the planning of the scholarship examination was completed and instructions were given for center-wise management, distribution of question papers, confidentiality, appointment of supervisors, as well as providing basic facilities to the students. This year, 31,593 students of class 5th will take the test at 188 examination centres, while 21,512 students from class 8th will appear at 143 centres.
Students from aided, unaided, permanently unaided and self-financed schools, including Zilla Parishad schools, were provided the opportunity to appear for this examination.
Meanwhile, a meeting of the directors of the examination centres will be conducted at Vishwakarma Hall of Deogiri College on Wednesday.

The scholarship examination will test the intellectual ability, reasoning and study comprehension of the students. There will be two papers of 150 marks each. All the questions are objective and multiple choice. There will be four options for each question. The examination will be conducted in Marathi, Hindi, Urdu, English, Gujarati, Telugu and Kannad.
