A 40-year-old Gulmohar tree collapsed on Banjara Colony’s main road, opposite Samajik Bhavan, on Saturday afternoon due to weakened roots, injuring a moped rider who had stopped under it moments earlier; two parked cars were also damaged, and the fire brigade, police, and municipal staff quickly cleared the tree and restored traffic.
