Aurangabad, June 3:

Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) demanded that all the universities should start adoption scheme for students who lost their parents because of Covid. Niketan Kothari of ABVP said that they held ‘Chhatra Darbar, Chhatra Samvad and Sansad’ between May 25 and 31 and submitted a memorandum to Chief Minister on the basis of students problems.

In the memorandum, it was stated that schools and colleges should reduce their fee as the students have used parking and library and not attended culture, sports activities.

Other demands included concession in examinations fee as the examinations were conducted online, increase age bar limit to sportspersons who did not get the opportunity of participation in the tournaments due to lockdown, reducing fee in autonomous engineering colleges, provide work under ‘Earn and Learn’ scheme to all students.
