Aurangabad, March 21:

Members of Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) and Jankalyan Samiti distributed food packet to the candidates who arrived in the city on Sunday to take Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) examination.

Thousands of candidates from out of station reached the city today. All shops and establishments, including hotels were closed because of total lockdown.

The ABVP and Jankalyan Samiti office-bearers provided 2,000 food packets to the candidates near centres -Government Polytechnic, Swami Vivekanand College, PES College of Engineering, S B College, Shivchhatrapati College, St Meera Vidyalaya.

ABVP Pradesh Sahamantri Ankita Pawar, Mahanagar Mantri Niketan Kothari, district convener Shyamsundar Sodgir, Prasannakumar Bote from Samiti and others took pains for the initiative.

Meanwhile, Jagrut Datta Mandir Sansthan of N-7 distributed ‘Puri-Bhaji’ and water bottle examinees of MPSC, their parents, teachers and non-teaching staff at Mukul Mandir School. President of Sansthan Ganesh Joshi, police inspector Ashok Giri, school principal Choudhary, corporator Rekha Patil distributed food packets as part of foundation day Mandir.

Rajesh Patil, Padmakar Diwan, Shivkumar Tharewal, Dinesh Bagul, Uddhav Guruju, Anand Malode and others were present.
