Adishri Foundation honours 27 women micro-entrepreneurs on Women’s Day

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

Stories of determination, resilience and entrepreneurship came to the fore at a felicitation ceremony organised for women micro-entrepreneurs by Adishri Foundation on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Women entrepreneurs shared how they overcame social and personal challenges to establish their businesses, emphasising that financial independence and self-belief are empowering more women to pursue their dreams and inspire others in society.

During the programme, 27 women micro-entrepreneurs were felicitated by feminist scholar Dr Aartishyamal Joshi, police officer Pooja Mangate, state goods and services tax department officer S. M. Jadhav and Ahilya Dhakane.

On the occasion, the women shared their experiences about challenges in business, their strengths, balancing household responsibilities with entrepreneurship, financial planning and the benefits of government schemes.

Among those felicitated were Neelima Tonde, Rekha Misal, Pratibha Mahure, Smita Salunke, Jyoti Puri, Mangat Ghughe, Vishakha Wagh and Manisha Chandre.
