Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:

For two consecutive days, passengers travelling by IndiGo’s Delhi to Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar flight faced unexpected inconvenience — although the passengers arrived in the city, their baggage remained in Delhi. Several passengers expressed strong displeasure at the airport on Wednesday evening regarding the issue.

IndiGo operates regular passenger flights between Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar and Delhi. On Tuesday, the luggage of some passengers arriving from Delhi did not arrive with them. The same issue occurred again on Wednesday, causing further frustration. Passengers arriving from Delhi were seen waiting for their bags at the airport, only to find, after a long wait, that the baggage had not arrived, causing confusion and agitation. Many lodged complaints with IndiGo and airport officials. Detailed information regarding the missing luggage was collected from the affected passengers. However, IndiGo officials did not respond, though airport authorities confirmed the incident.

15 to 20 passengers affected

On Wednesday, around 15 to 20 passengers arriving from Delhi did not receive their baggage. Airport officials stated that these bags would be delivered to the city on Thursday morning via an Air India flight.

Tuesday’s baggage arrived on Wednesday

Airport officials informed that the baggage left behind in Delhi on Tuesday had arrived by flight on Wednesday. Passengers who can collect their bags in person are being handed them over at the airport, while for others, home delivery of baggage is being arranged, said the sources.
