Aurangabad, April 4:
Administrator of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) Astik Kumar Pandey was detected COVID 19 positive on Sunday.
He had a fever on Saturday, so, gave his swab for the RT-PCR test. The swab sample report was found positive for pandemic virus today. He was being given treatment in home isolation.
It may be noted that health officer Dr Neeta Padalkar, AMC city engineering Sakharam Panzhade, executive engineering Heman Kolhe were also detected COVID positive during the last 15 to 20 days.
All the officers have taken the vaccine. Incharge health officer Dr Rathodkar said that Astik Kumar Pandey's swab test was conducted on Saturday after he was suffering from fever.
“His test report was positive. There is no need to worry as he has mild symptoms,” he added.
Astik Kumar Pandey confirmed the news through his ‘Twitter account.
He appealed to all those who came in his contact to get done their COVID test.
