Aurangabad, Dec 10: The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials in total conducted 820 tests, 166 antigen and 654 RT-PCR, at its Covid Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city to trace 22 Covid-19 patients today. Meanwhile, three train passengers had been detected as coronavirus infected in RT-PCR test drive at the railway station.
The health teams conducted 28 antigen tests at the CCCs and found three Covid-19 patients. The AMC personnel also held 100 RT-PCR tests.
Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, visited different parts of the city, conducted 91 antigen tests and detected 13 Covid-19 patients, apart from 476 RT-PCR tests on suspects.
According to the AMC data, the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) conducted 12 RT-PCR tests, the District Civil Hospital (DCH) conducted three and private laboratories conducted 63 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 47 antigen tests and found six Covid-19 patients. The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
Three train passengers detected as Covid-positive
Three train passengers, who had arrived in the city on Wednesday, have been reported as Covid-19 positive today. The health teams of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) had conducted RT-PCR tests on 231 passengers arriving at the station by Sachkhand Express train and 34 RT-PCR tests of the passengers arriving at the Chikalthana airport from Delhi-bound planes, on December 9. The reports of the above passengers have received today, and it stated that three train passengers are infected.
Meanwhile, the AMC health teams have conducted RT-PCR tests of 197 persons arriving in the city by Sachkhand Express and 40 tests on air passengers at the airport, today (December 10). The administration will receive their reports by tomorrow.
