The anti-encroachment squad of Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) today was active in removing encroachments existing in Paithan Gate, Samarthnagar and around Garware Sports Stadium.
Acting upon relative's complaint, the AMC squad demolished an illegal construction made on the terrace of the fourth floor of building in Paithan Gate area. The property-holder illegally constructed on 30x25 square feet area during the night hours and on official holidays in the last four days. The designated officer Vasant Bhoye inspected the site before taking action. When the property-holder opposed the action, the additional commissioner R P Nikam, re-inspected the site and justified the action.
The squad also removed tin shed encroaching an area of 10x 15 square feet on the road in Samarthnagar and small encroachments surrounding the Garware Stadium stated the press release.
