AMC to start five schools in Satara-Deolai wards

Aurangabad, June 17:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) has decided to start five new schools in the Satara-Deolai locality. Acting upon the orders of the AMC administrator, A K Pandey, the education section has started the survey to find out eligible students for admission in these schools.

The teachers Balasaheb Jadhav, Asaram Jadhav, Vaishali Chavan, and Monica Chavan are conducting the survey for the last seven days. The location of the school will be finalise depending upon the availability of a large number of students.

It may be noted that Satara-Deolai got merged with the AMC in 2016. The then population was 52,000. Hence, the AMC held by-polls by forming two wards. Later on, the AMC restructured them into five wards with an aim to conduct general elections in April 2020. The AMC has planned to start one school in each ward. It is believed that the inconvenience of the students will come to an end after starting schools by the AMC.
