AMC traces 22 COVID patients in city

Aurangabad, Dec 15:

The Aurangabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) health officials conducted 207 antigen and 922 RT-PCR tests (total 1129 tests) at its COVID Care Centres (CCCs) and different places in the city and traced 22 Covid-19 patients today.

The health teams conducted 59 antigen tests at the CCCs and detected two Covid-19 patients on the spot. The AMC personnel also held 242 RT-PCR tests on suspects.

Meanwhile, the Special Task Force, by visiting different parts of the city, conducted 106 antigen tests and detected 16 Covid-19 patients. It also collected swab collection of 640 suspects for RT-PCR tests.

According to AMC data, the GMCH conducted five RT-PCR tests and private laboratories conducted 35 RT-PCR tests today. Meanwhile, the private laboratories also conducted 42 antigen tests and found four Covid-19 patients (including one staying in an area out of AMC limit). The AMC will receive the reports of all RT-PCR tests tomorrow.
