"After marriage, women face many restrictions. But your dream can be fulfilled by overcoming odds and taking everyone along with confidence," said Anjali Kola-Porje winner of the prestigious Mrs Asia Universe 2021 title in a press conference organised here today.
The competition was organised by the Mrs Universe Pvt Ltd. Anjali received the title in the fifth category of the international competition for married women. Giving more information, Anjali said, Covid had put a lot of restrictions on this competition. Therefore, the auditions for the competition were conducted online. Nearly 50 women from around the world were selected for the finale. The finale was held in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The jury bestowed Anjali with the Mrs Asia Universe 2021 title. Anjali said that "This crown and title is dedicated to all women like me. If you have confidence, your age, height and where you belong are secondary. Therefore, women from Aurangabad and Marathwada should also participate in such competitions. I will be participating in beauty pageant competitions around the world to promote Indian culture." Chief executive officer of Mrs Universe Pvt Ltd Naresh Madan, film distributor Rakesh Sabharwal, Yogacharya Nirmala Sewani and Amulya Nidhi were present.
Judged several events
Anjali completed her schooling from Jintur (Parbhani) and college and graduation in Aurangabad. She has been working in modelling, fashion grooming trainer and event sector since age 21. Anjali is also the winner of ETV''s Banquet Queen. To date, she has appeared in many beauty pageant programs as an examiner. She has organized beauty pageants in Aurangabad, Nashik, Pune and Mumbai.
