The Anti-Corruption Bureau has arrested police constable Aadhar Bhise (32) from Badnapur police station, Jalna, for accepting a bribe of Rs 70,000. He was caught red-handed during a trap operation on November 10, 2025, while taking the bribe from a complainant.
Bhise, a resident of Bhambarda, Joshiwadi, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, had initially demanded Rs 1 lakh, later agreeing to Rs 70,000, to help the complainant’s nephews accused in a murder case during the PCR and chargesheet process. The case involved Hari Jogdand of Dalalwadi, who allegedly killed his daughter Shravani over a love affair and made it appear as suicide. Acting on the complaint, the ACB team verified the demand and laid a trap at Badnapur police station. Bhise accepted the bribe in the presence of witnesses and was immediately detained. His house was later searched, and a criminal case has been registered at Badnapur police station. The operation was conducted under the supervision of SP Madhuri Kangane, addl. SP Shashikant Singare, and DySP Suresh Naiknavare, with PI Shantilal Chavan leading the team, assisted by Ravindra Kale, Ashok Nagargoje, and C.N. Bagul.
