Bridge on Solapur-Dhule highway collapses

The bridge on the main road from Rajmata Ahilyadevi Holkar Chowk towards the Solapur-Dhule Highway has partially collapsed on one side, forcing commuters to travel cautiously. The bridge, located in front of Devansh Lawns, has been in a collapsed state for several days, yet the authorities have not taken notice. The condition poses serious danger to both motorists and pedestrians. Citizens have questioned whether the administration is waiting for an accident to happen.

Residents from Satara Tanda, Sai Tekdi, and Deolai village who travel towards Renuka Mata Kaman are forced to use this bridge, making it dangerous for two-wheelers, four-wheelers, and heavy vehicles. The route also passes by schools, lawns, offices, and residential areas. Additionally, some locations have ongoing new housing projects, leading to constant movement of trucks, tractors, school buses, and other transport vehicles day and night. Citizens have demanded immediate repair of the road and bridge to prevent accidents.
