Kishor Dixit, a son of a carpenter from the city become a Chartered Accountant (CA). Talking to this newspaper, Kishor said that he had no information about CA course until 11th class and got its knowledge through a seminar when he was in 12th class.

“My father Sudhakar Dixit is a carpenter by profession and hails from Jikthan village in Gangapur tehsil. Because of my poor financial condition, I used to distribute newspapers for some months in 11th class. I stood second in the State in 12th commerce by scoring 95 per cent marks,” he said.

Kishor who lives at Gurudutta Nagar said that he cleared CA Foundation in 2015, CA Intermediate in 2016.

“I took a gap of three months and started working on a contract basis to help my family. My article hip started in 2017. There were several thoughts in mind, like giving up CA final doing job. I am a member of Swadhyay Parivar. My friends in the Parivar gave me mental support to continue the course,” he asserted.

He said that he studied for 10 hours, an average for the final examination. “My mother, Sunanda too, motivated me to fight with the condition. I qualified CA final in the first attempt by securing 404 marks. I want to make a career in finance, audit and taxation. I will do the job for the first two years and later, will start my own firm,” he added.
