Aurangabad, Jan 10: : Jayakwadi water will come to the city with full capacity after the proposed pipeline project is completed. Citizens of other districts want to have own house in this historical city because companies are signing agreements for investment in Auric city, Samruddhi highway, Solapur-Dhule national highway, upcoming airline service to big cities of the country, high quality medical service, education and more attractive facilities. The reputed builders are experiencing this trend after the lockdown. Customers from Jalna to Latur are very eager to purchase houses in the city. Reputed builders said that people from Marathwada are moving towards Aurangabad after lockdown instead of Pune and Mumbai. Citizens of other districts including Jalna, Beed, Parbhani, Osmanabad, Nanded and Latur are coming here to purchase own flat, row house, bungalow from the last four months. Basic infrastructure facilities are the main reason for this migration of people from other districts to Aurangabad. The chief minister performed Bhoomipujan of the new Rs 1680-crore water pipeline project last month. Bigger diameter pipeline will be constructed between Jayakwadi to Nakshatrawadi for fetching water to the city. Half of the work for cement concrete and asphalt roads has been done. An amount of Rs 150 crore was received and 23 roads will be constructed in the upcoming year.
Highways Network
Aurangabad is part of the Nagpur-Mumbai Samruddhi highway. Solapur-Dhule national highway work is taking place rapidly. Jalgaon cement concrete road is under development and airline services are being started to big cities like Mumbai and Delhi from Chikalthana international airport. Aurangabad Industrial City (Auric) is expected to see big investment upto 2021.
