Aurangabad, May 2:
“Conspiracies are being hatched to malign the image of Home Department, State Government and its leadership intentionally since the day when Maha Vikas Aghadi came to power. The public knows who is behind this. After the probe, the truth will come to light. The Government is working transparently,” said Shambhuraje Desai, the Minister of State for Home.
He was speaking during a review meeting held at the Superintendent of Police office on Sunday morning.
Shambhuraje Desai is taking a review of rural police across the State in view of COVID situation.
After completing Jalna visit, he came to the city today. He attended the review meeting and left for Ahmednagar this afternoon. The minister took a review of various works done by the Police Department.
Desai expressed satisfaction over the performance of all the districts within the Aurangabad range.
SP Mokshada Patil informed that the rural police have closed the borders of six containment zones in the district under ‘Break the Chain’ guidelines.
All six borders of the districts were closed and enquiry of those who enter the district through these routes are being conducted strictly. There is no entry without a pass. The vaccination drive of police personnel was completed. Police patrolling was enhanced in every chowk and market. A special corridor was prepared between April 21 and 30 to clear the route of 38 oxygen tankers.
Special inspector general of police (Aurangabad range) K M M Prasanna, along with sub-divisional officers, were present.
K M M Prasanna prepared a proposal to have the same colour of all police Stations in the Aurangabad range.
Shambhuraje Desai lauded the concept of one colour for all police station buildings.
