Corona second wave likely to hit after Diwali
Aurangabad, Nov 12:
The experts have opined that the second Corona wave is likely to hit the district after 14 to 28 days of Diwali, hence the administration has made preparations in advance to tackle the Corona crisis. Zilla Parishad CEO, Dr Mangesh Gondawale said, the experts opined that the patients will be 10 percent more than the earlier phase, hence the administration has made preparations accordingly. However, the residents should take care of themselves and follow the safety guidelines. People should take care that pollution should not be spread by busting crackers so that it may not cause respiratory and eye diseases.
Dr Gondawale while speaking to the reporters said, the number of Corona patients have decreased in the district now and hence the administration will concentrate on the development works after Diwali. All the primary health centres have been directed to follow the post Covid guidelines. Efforts will be taken to complete the development works of the 15th finance commission and balance of Rs 47 crores. Additional CEO, Santosh Kawade, Deputy CEO Dr Sunil Bhokare, agriculture development officer Anand Ganjewar and others were present.
