The Aurangabad bench of the Bombay High Court on February 23,, cancelled the order of the education deputy director who had refused to include Bhimrao Sadashiv Kale’s name in the Shalarth system. The court directed that his name be added within 15 days and imposed a Rs 10,000 cost on the deputy director for unnecessary delay.

Kale, a Sipahi appointed on February 2, 2011, and granted permanent status with regular pay in 2014, faced repeated delays due to inaction by the Beed district education officer and the Deputy Director. The deputy director had rejected the inclusion on July 31, 2025, citing a government ban on Class ‘C’ and ‘D’ recruitment. The court clarified that once an appointment is approved by the education authority, the deputy director has no power to deny its entry into the Shalarth system. The petitioner, represented by adv Tukaram Vyanjane, challenged the refusal in the High Court. The court noted that the advertisement for the post had been issued on June 14, 2010, and the appointment process had begun before the ban.
