Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: The anti-encroachment squad of Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Municipal Corporation (CSMC) today demolished eight illegally built shops in Hamalwada area across near Railway Station on Monday. The squad members also removed 7 kiosks on the occasion.

These eight shops were built on a 9-metres wide internal road of Hamalwada locality. Prior to the action, the deputy engineer (Town Planning) Sanjay Kombade, demarcated the road, then demolished the illegal shops and removed kiosks.

Under guidance of the additional commissioner Saurabh Joshi and the deputy commissioner Savita Sonawane, the building inspector Sarang Vidhate, Rameshwar Surase, Nagari Mitra Pathak and the anti-encroachment squad took the action.
