Chhatrapait Sambhajinagar: The Chhatrapait Sambhajinagar division of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) obtained seventh place in the HSC result across the State.
The MSBSHSE conducted the examination in nine divisions of the State. Kokan division is in first place with 94.14 per cent across the State while Latur division is in last position with 84.14 pc. The Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar division secured seventh place among them with 88.68 pc. The division was in fourth place in 2025.

Decline in distinction candidates
The number of candidates in distinction has decreased in the division this year compared to last year. Out of the total 1.82 lakh candidates who appeared in the division, 19,962 (10.92) students have secured distinction (75 per cent and above mark), followed by first division-53,535 (29.30) students, second division-66,634 (36.47) and passed- 21,891 (11.90). The number of candidates in distinction has gone down by 6,870. There were 26,832 candidates with distinction in 2025.
