Aurangabad, April 28:

The demand to refund the cancelled SSC examinations fee is growing in the State.

One more teacher's union Akhil Bhartiya Urdu Shikshak Sangh (ABUSS) made this demand.

In a memorandum submitted to the School Education Minister, the ABUSS stated that the Government cancelled the examinations of SSC because of the second wave of COVID.

“More than 16 lakh students registered online for the examinations and paid Rs 66. 40 crore. The Government imposed strict curbs under ‘Break the Chain’ initiative to contain the pandemic spread. However, thousands of parents are facing a financial crisis because of it. The fee refund will give at some relief in such a situation,” the union office-bearers said.

The memorandum was signed by its state general secretary Sajid Nisar Ahmed.
