Aurangabad, Feb 13: Medical education minister Amit Deshmukh will dedicate the MRI machine installed with the financial assistance of the Shirdi Sansthan at the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) here on February 15. Covid warriors will be felicitated on the occasion. Guardian minister Subhash Desai will remain present.

Shirdi Sansthan gave Rs 15 crore to the GMCH for the new MRI machine in May 2018. The ultramodern three-Tesla MRI equipment has been installed from this aid. After preliminary testing, the machine is ready for the regular MRI testing.

Employment guarantee minister Sandipan Bhumre, ministers of state Rajendra Yadravkar, Abdul Sattar, and peoples representatives from the district will remain present for the dedication ceremony to be held at Gandhi Auditorium of the GMCH, said dean Dr Kanan Yelikar.
