Dr Dilip Khairnar elected treasurer of ISC

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Dr Dilip Khairnar, Head of the Sociology Department at Deogiri College, has been elected as Treasurer of the Indian Sociological Council (ISC).

Council President Deepti Ranjan Sahu and Secretary Arvinder Ansari chose Dr Khairnar as Treasurer from among the 15 elected members.

The ISCl is the largest organisation in the field of social sciences, with over 7,000 life members across the country.

Dr Khairnar has authored 15 books in the field of sociology and has served on various committees at the university level as well as across the country.
