Aurangabad, May 4:

Former professor from Pali Department of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University (Bamu) Dr Manish Anand died of COVID on Sunday night.

He was 68. He made a big contribution to Pali language. Dr Anand was undergoing treatment in a hospital in Bhusaval for the past few days.

He leaves behind wife, one son, four daughters, sons-in-law and grandchildren. He was a native of Bhondgaon Devi in Gondia district. Online tributes were paid to him in a condolence meeting held Pali and Buddhism Department on Tuesday.
