The third quarterly general body meeting of the Marathwada Association of Small Scale Industries and Agriculture (Massia) for 2025–26 was held on February 4 at its Waluj auditorium, chaired by president Arjun Gaikwad. Key issues faced by entrepreneurs were discussed, with Gaikwad stating that follow-up with the administration is underway for resolution.
MASIA secretary Sachin Gayke read the minutes of the previous meeting, while secretary Dilip Choudhary reviewed the organisation’s activities over the past quarter. Executive committee members who contributed significantly to the Advantage Maharashtra Expo were felicitated, and 26 new members were formally welcomed. The quarterly publication Udyog Samvad was released, and former president Chetan Raut outlined the journey and key features of the Expo. Gaikwad reiterated that Massia is pursuing entrepreneurs’ concerns with MIDC, the Pollution Control Board, the municipal corporation, the local administration and the state government. Around 220 members and office-bearers attended the meeting.
