Farmer's son cracks UPSC with 434th rank

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Prajwal Pol, a 25-year-old from Gangapur tehsil of the district, qualified the union Public Service Commission (UPSC) examination with a 434th rank.

He did his primary education at Maharashtra Public School and his 12th at Milind College of Science. Prajwal completed a BSc-Agriculture from Baramati and achieved this success in his third attempt, without any expensive tuition classes, only through online studies. He has secured his place among the selected 959 passed candidates.

Prajwal said that the most difficult thing in UPSC is maintaining consistency and mental stability.

He said that since the syllabus is vast, it is challenging to keep oneself motivated. He said that he believes that with the right strategy and planning, any crisis can be overcome. Prajwal gives full credit for his success to his parents.

Prajwal has become the first student in the history of Gangapur tehsil to pass UPSC. This year, he is the only one from the district to pass UPSC and his success has raised the name of the entire Marathwada in the country.

A farmer's son from Shankarpur in Gangapur tehsil of the district has made a dream that seemed impossible come true. He said that the support of his family had been his real strength. While giving a message to the youth of today's 'Z-Gen', Prajwal says, 'Stay away from social media and the hustle and bustle of the outside world and focus only on your goal. Believe in yourself, success will definitely be yours.'
