Father – son duo murdered Jamya over old dispute

Aurangabad, June 5:

A father-son due murdered notorious goon Jamir Khan Shabbir Khan (Nawabpura) alias Jamya by stabbing him at Shahgunj area on Friday night. The City Chowk police arrested the accused Shaikh Nabbu Shaikh Habib (52) and his son Shaikh Shoaib Shaikh Nabbu today at wee hours.

Jamya was murdered at a construction site near Chandrasagar Digambar Jain Dharmashala on Shahgunj road on Friday night. The City Chowk police registered a case in this regard late night and immediately started the investigation.

It was found that Nabbu and Shoaib have murdered him. Shoaib and Jamya were brothers-in-law. Four years back, Jamya had left his wife due to which there was a severe fight between Shoaib and Jamya. A case was also registered against the father – son duo of the attempt to murder. A counter case was registered against Jamya in this case and he was in prison since then. He was later released on parole due to the Corona pandemic from the Jail. Since then, he used to threaten the father – son duo. They used to keep a knife with them for security. On Friday night, Jamya initiated quarrel with them at Shahgunj area and the father – son duo stabbed him, informed PI Sambhaji Pawar, API S K Khatane is further investigating the case.

Meanwhile, the police produced the arrested accused before the court and the court granted both of them in the police remanded them in the police custody for four days.
