Aurangabad, June 20:

A soon-to-be bride committed suicide by hanging herself in depression at Gaikwad Housing Society, Ektanagar, on Saturday afternoon after her would-be husband committed suicide 15 days back. The deceased Khushi Ramesh Kalwale (17) is a minor girl. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Harsul police station. API Namdeo Jadhav said that Khushi was studying the first year of her graduation course and operated a beauty parlour. Three months back, her marriage was fixed, but the would-be bridegroom committed suicide 15 days before. On Saturday afternoon, when her mother was busy with work, Khushi hanged herself to the ceiling fan with a Saree. When her mother noticed it, she started crying. The nearby residents gathered and rushed her to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared her dead after the examination. Police said that her father informed that she was under tremendous mental pressure after her would-be husband committed suicide.
