Aurangabad, Oct 13:

Kranti Chowk police have arrested five persons for abducting two youths from a car in front of a hotel on suspicion of having an extramarital affair.

According to police. Yogesh Bansode and Pankaj Bansode, both residents of Prabuddhanagar in Garampani area, were abducted by five persons on October 11 at 2 pm in front of Hotel Shangrila. The wife of one of the abductors was missing from the house.

The accused suspected that Yogesh had abducted her and kept her in a hotel. When they reached the hotel looking for her they could not find her. The accused forcibly took Yogesh and Pankaj in a car. After getting information, Pankaj''s father Arun lodged a complaint at Kranti Chowk police station. He then gave the car number of the suspects to the police.

The car was caught by the police at Kranti Chowk at night and the duo was released. Five people in the car were arrested. The court remanded them in police custody, said PSI Sandeep Shinde.
