The accused of the drugs case Jiteshkumar Hinhoriya, who is being treated in the MGM hospital is now given food brought from his home. However, the food is given to him only after his relatives eat it before. The food is given to Jiteshkumar after 10 to 15 minutes after being tested by his relatives.

Jiteshkumar tried to commit suicide by cutting his neck and hand. Surgeries were performed on him in the MGM Hospital. Presently, he is under the observation of the doctors and it will take around 10 days for him to recover.

A team of officers from the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI) and the local police have kept a strict vigil on the restricted area where he has been kept. A decision to shift him to the general ward from the ICU will be taken within two days, said Dr H R Raghwan.
