Aurangabad, May 6:

The Satara police on Thursday night have booked former mayor Nandkumar Ghodele and his around 25 supporters for celebrating his birthday.

Former mayor Ghodele celebrated his birthday in the presence of the residents of his ward at Itkheda on May 4.

On receiving the information, under the guidance of senior officer, constable Nalawade lodged a complainant against Ghodele (Saivrundavan Colony, Paithan Road) and against his around 25 to 30 supporters. A case has been registered for not using masks during birthday celebration, spreading Corona infection, breaching the prohibitory orders and other sections have been registered at the Satara police station.
