“Dashboards must evolve from reporting tools into decision-making instruments,” observed the ZP CEO at the “From Experiments to Impact: Potential AI Use Cases for the Marathwada Region” panel at the @ Scale AI Summit held in the city. He added that data must be consistently reviewed and acted upon.
Shri Ankit, CEO of Zilla Parishad, stressed that digitisation of existing workflows is essential before introducing AI layers. He emphasised that data must not merely be displayed but regularly reviewed and acted upon to resolve administrative bottlenecks. General Manager Chandrashekhar Jaiswal of the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) highlighted tourism’s persistent “measurement gap”. Structured data on visitor movement, multimodal connectivity and rational pricing models, he noted, could help increase average tourist stays and reposition the Marathwada circuit as a multi-layered heritage, spiritual and eco-tourism destination. Managing director Natasha Zarine of EcoSattva underscored the importance of environmental visibility and civic-tech integration. AI-backed monitoring of waste and river systems, she said, can convert short-term pilots into sustained and accountable civic systems. The session was moderated by professor of practice Naina Sahni, who stressed that technology must strengthen heritage conservation, water security, healthcare access and local livelihoods.
