The local crime branch of the rural police arrested the gang members for stealing electric motors pumps from Ginning Mills at Deogaon Rangari and Kasab Kheda. The police seized stolen motor pumps, mobile phones, cash and tempo, all worth Rs 8,09,160 from the accused. The arrested gang members have been identified as Liyaquat Khajabali Syed, Anis Mohammad Sharif Pathan and Shaikh Hasan Shaikh Chand. The kingpin of the gang, Gauskhan, and the scrap vendor are still large, and the police have launched a massive search for them.

PI, Bhagwat Phunde said, Jitendra Ramesh Jagdale (Janephal, Vaijapur) runs a Ginning Mill at Deogaon Rangari. Eight electric motors and other articles were stolen from the Mill and Jagdale lodged a complaint in this regard. During investigation the police found that motor pumps were also stolen from Mill at Kasabkheda. The police arrested suspects Liyaquat and Anis Pathan. During interrogation, they confessed that they had stolen the motors and other articles with Gauskhan and sold 22 motors to scarp vendor Shaikh Asad and Shaikh Chand. Police have arrested Asad but the remaining accuseds are still at large.

The police action was executed under the guidance of SP, Mokshada Patil, additional SP, Ganesh Gawade by the police team, including PSI Sandeep Solanke and others.
