Aurangabad, June 12:

A 13 years old girl committed suicide by hanging herself as her mother refused to give her Rs 10, at Wankhedenagar in N-13, Hudco area onFriday night. A case of accidental death has been registered at the Begumpura police station. The deceased has been identified as Mohini Sunil Shejwal.

Shejwal family lives at Wankhedenagar in a rented house for the past two years. Shejwal couple has a daughter Mohini and a son. Her father works as a contruction labour while her mother is a maid. On Friday, Mohini asked for Rs 10 to her mother Asha, but she did not gave her. In a fit of rage, Mohini hanged herself with the help of a odhni to a fan on Friday at around 8 pm. When the incident came to the fore, she was rushed to a private hospital and then to the Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) where the doctors declared her dead.
