Haji Sher Khan appointed as AIMIM group leader

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar: Haji Sher Khan has been appointed as the group leader of the All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM). The elections for mayor and deputy mayor are scheduled to be held on February 10. Prior to this, political parties are required to register their respective groups with the divisional commissioner, for which the appointment of a group leader is mandatory.

In this connection, AIMIM state president Imtiaz Jaleel convened a meeting of all corporators at the party office in Labour Colony on Friday, during which Haji Sher Khan’s appointment as group leader was finalised.
